Yes it does, and thank you very much. Hearing you say so validates my efforts. And for those of you who are interested in simulating feces, I recommend DAP products. The silicone-based caulk goes on smooth, dries quick (actually not very quick in these quantities), and really does look like a pile of dung. I found the most true-to-life flavor to be "Cedar Tan" (shown). It's got that murky-brown color that you're striving for, and yet it's not too dark to hide the details.
