Inspired (an elegant word for stolen?) by Jared's use of a starburst in his iMovie project, I decided I needed one for my "Process" project. His was more of a "comic" type, very exact and colorful, but I wanted more of a photo-realistic effect that looked more like a spotlight shining directly at you. So I did a little searching and found this link. The settings just didn't work for me, but I fiddled around and got what I wanted - as you see in the posted photo. I think I upped the Min and Max Wavelengths to something like 170 and 240, respectively. I believe the numbers are all proportional to your image resolution and dimenssions, so you have to experiment. Your mileage may vary.
